Language Teacher Education Program
Students enrolled in the language teacher education program pursue Ed.Ms with/without certification in Language Education, as well as ESL and Bilingual Teaching endorsements. This program has onsite and online tracks, and I teach in both.

Urban Social Justice Teacher Preparation Program
Students in the urban social justice teacher education program at the GSE are general education pre-service teachers, pursuing certification in elementary education, math education, social studies, special education, etc. They are not language specialists, but in these classes, they reflect on the intersections between language, power and schooling.

Rutgers Department of French
These Summer Sessions courses are hybrid: they take place on campus and online (as is the case for Art, Museum collections and intercultural dialogue) or on campus and abroad (as was the case for the Teachers at the Louvre class). Students enrolled in these summer courses are undergraduate French majors, and in-service teachers of French seeking professional development through an M.A.T. (Master of Arts in Teaching).

Online Program Coordination
I coordinate our online programs in Language Education at the Rutgers Graduate School of Education. There are 3 programs: (1) An Ed.M in Language Education (ESL, TESOL, WL), (2) an endorsement in ESL/TESOL, and (3) an endorsement in Bilingual Education with/out dual Bilingual/ESL endorsement.
Service
- Mentoring new instructors
- Advising: between 60 and 80 online students
- Thesis and Dissertation supervision: 1 Honors Thesis; 1 Doctoral student, committee member; 1 Independent Study;
- Department and University Committee member.
- Journal reviewer: Foreign Language Annals, The L2 Journal, Critical Multilingualism Studies
- Conference Reviewer: 2020 7th International Conference on the Development and Assessment of Intercultural Competence, the 2019 Language Teacher Education conference, the ACTFL 2018, 2019 Convention.
- Award Committee: Nelson Brooks Award.
